Food from Tanzania - February 2026
This month for Fast Sunday Family Feast we explored the flavors of Tanzania! Our friends got called as mission presidents there and so we had them over to celebrate. We made a beautiful spread of East African dishes that came together perfectly.

Our feast included grilled meats, savory curry, fresh salad, and traditional breads — a true taste of Tanzania!
Here are the recipes we used:
- Nyama Choma - Grilled meat, a Tanzanian staple
- African Fish Curry - Rich and flavorful curry
- Ugali (Corn Fufu) - Traditional cornmeal side
- Kachumbari - East African Salad - Fresh tomato and onion salad
- Chapati - East African flatbread
- Mandazi (Spiced Doughnuts) - Sweet fried treats
